A shared starting point.
One Common Truth is a free, founder-led project created by Bruce Hidaka-Gordon to make evidence easier to find, understand and share.
Why this exists
How can we meaningfully disagree about our beliefs if we cannot agree on demonstrable facts? This library examines specific statements, shows the evidence behind them and explains the limits of what can be concluded.
A small project with open standards
We do not claim nonprofit status, accreditation, institutional partnerships or an independent editorial board. The founder controls publication. Source organizations are cited for their work, not as endorsers of this project.
AI assistance, visible accountability
The initial research and site were prepared with AI assistance. The owner approved the initial 30 entries for publication on October 8, 2026. AI can help draft and organize research; it cannot independently authorize a new verified entry.
Built for everyone
Political affiliation, religion and worldview do not determine whether a factual claim is supported. We aim to make room for respectful disagreement about values while applying the same evidence standards to factual claims.
