A better record is the goal.
An error report is an opportunity to improve the evidence.
Send a specific correction
Use Report an Error on an evidence page. Include the truth ID, the passage in question, the proposed correction and a supporting source when available. Reports remain private while reviewed.
Review the substance
The owner can mark a report pending, investigating, resolved or declined. A disputed entry can be returned to review or draft status, which removes it from public library results and its public evidence route.
Maintain a visible history
Substantive changes carry a date and reason. Older versions are retained in the private editorial archive. Public history describes the change without exposing submitter information.
No promise of instant review
This is a small project without a staffed round-the-clock desk. Submission confirmation means the report was saved, not that its proposed conclusion has been accepted.
